Me in the studio doing last minute changes to Purple Heart, a track on my upcoming album A Dreamer's Worst Nightmare.
It's been a long time since I've posted anything (Over 5 months but whose counting). Alot of things have happened. My music has been playing on radio stations and I thank those DJ's for the love. The defending champion Boston Celtics got past the 1st round in the PO's but got knocked out in the Semi-Finals to Orlando, courtesy of KG being injured hmmm... what else.... Alot of celebrities dying. Michael Jackson was the most tradgic news to me. Unbelievable. A very big inspiration to myself and he passed on my best friend's birthday.
r.i.p.
Today I got tragic news about the death of a friend and labelmate. Jonaire "Gee Da Captain" Lakey Johnson, along with James Elmer Jordan both were killed instantly after being in a deadly car crash at around 1am yesterday morning (Jan. 2, 2009). My heart goes out to his sister, his family and the rest of the crew down in Texas. Stay up.The Music Video by ISZ performing "They Callin' Me" with A. Retiz [video director & video producer] produced by Grand Finale (C) single from A Dreamer's Worst Nightmare 2009.

New single from Koz off the album "An Offer you can't refuse".
I got the chance to peep this movie on Sunday, Jan. 18. To be honest from the previews I didn’t know what to expect. I must admit when I seen the film I was suprised. I felt like Gravy did his thing playing Biggie. It was a good joint. My only criticism is that I felt that the movie didn’t go into enough detail about certain situations that were very critical for people who, unlike myself, didn’t know a lot about him. Then again if they would've did that, the film would've probably been about 6 hours, so I understand. Overall it was very good. Angela Bassett is a lengend, Anthony Mackie did his thing.. Biggie is one of my biggest inspirations and I'm glad that they did this film.
Finallly. Barack Obama just took office and made his speech minutes ago at the Inauguration in Washington D.C.. Sworn into office as the 44th President of the United States and the 1st African American president. Glad that my grandma got the chance to see this. I wish my other grandma could've seen this (r.i.p), but my grandpa got to. 1/20/09
