Today I got tragic news about the death of a friend and labelmate. Jonaire "Gee Da Captain" Lakey Johnson, along with James Elmer Jordan both were killed instantly after being in a deadly car crash at around 1am yesterday morning (Jan. 2, 2009). My heart goes out to his sister, his family and the rest of the crew down in Texas. Stay up.Gee Da Capt.
